The Lord Lieutenant of Moray, Major General Seymour Monro, has appointed four new Deputy Lieutenants.
Joan Cowe, Alan James, John Stuart and Margaret Stenton will all support him in his duties.
Together they have a wealth of experience and a history of supporting the region.
Mrs Cowe has been working at Anderson’s Care Home in Elgin for nearly 40 years.
She played a major part in Pride of Scotland smoked salmon with husband, Moray councillor John Cowe, and founded the Lossiemouth Seafest food and drink festival.
Mr James, meanwhile, founded AJ Engineering in 1998 and is a founder member and past chairman of the Forres Events board, which ran the successful European Pipe Band Championships from 2013 to 2018.
Following a career in banking, Mrs Stenton is a trustee of The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation.
Finally, John Stuart, the 21st Earl of Moray, is a supportive landowner diversifying into renewable energies, the Castle Stuart Golf Links and new town of Tornagrain.
Mr Monro said he was delighted with the new additions.
