Two fire engines were called to the incident, on Shore Street, after the alarm was raised around 8.30pm. It is believed a skip caught fire and the flames spread to nearby cars. The fire engines have since left the scene. A fire spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 8.39pm in regards to a fire on Shore Street. “The stop message came in at 21.26pm”. She could not confirm what caused the fire or give any other details. More to follow.
