A Moray businessman has hailed the “phenomenal” community support shown as demand continues for his Covid-19 warning signs.
Signworks Moray owner Cameron Philson said that he has been blown away by the roaring trade from local businesses for signage during the pandemic.
The business that opened in Lossiemouth in 2008 has been producing covid related banners, signs and stickers for hotels, nurseries, takeaways and even the Registers of Scotland in Edinburgh.
Mr Philson said: “I am really lucky to be able to work from home and it is horrible to say but covid has boosted my trade.
“Places such as J.G. Williamson Waste Recycling, the MacAli Hotel Group and The RAF childcare nursery have had signs from me.
“I had already done work with The Registers of Scotland so they asked me to produce a large amount of Covid signage.”
Mr Philson said that working late nights to deal with the huge demand for covid signage doesn’t bother him at all.
He added: “Working late at night isn’t an issue and I enjoy what I do.
“My customers have been fantastic and business loyalty around this area is great.
“My wide format printer instantly dries the ink, therefore I can make stickers, signs or banners straight away which is really important for the quick turnaround people require just now.”
Post-lockdown, Mr Philson wants to give something back to the community as a thanks for their support.
