Grants up to £30,000 are to be made available for people helping shape the future of their local communities post lockdown.
The Dorenell Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund is offering Dufftown, Auchindoun, Glenrinnes, Glenlivet, Inveravon and Cabrach cash boosts.
These funds are provided by EDF Renewables, the owner of Dorenell Windfarm Limited, Dufftown.
The new fund is administered by Foundation Scotland who are urging the local communities to get involved and apply before the first submission deadline on Monday, August 31.

“We want to reach every corner of these communities to ensure everyone has an opportunity to get involved.”
Applications for the fund will open on Wednesday.
Originally there was a planned event to celebrate the launch however it has been put on hold during the pandemic.
All interested parties are invited to a virtual drop in session hosted by Mrs McDonald to find out more about the fund on Wednesday, July 8 and Monday, July 13.
