A teenager has been charged following a two-car crash on a Moray road.
The head-on collision happened at about 7pm on the A941 Elgin to Lossiemouth road on Friday.
Emergency services were forced to close the route for about three hours following the crash involving a white Vauxhall Corsa and red Toyota Aygo.
Police have confirmed an 18-year-old has been charged following the collision, which happened about a mile north of Elgin.
A spokesman said: “Emergency services attended and a man and a woman were taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital as a precaution.
“The road was re-opened around 9.55pm. An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with road traffic offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
