They have been in attendance at Culbin Forest since 12.53pm and remain on scene at moment. The beauty spot is between Forres and Dyke and residents in those towns have reported seeing smoke high in the sky. Four appliances are in attendance, with people being urged to avoid the area. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted to a forest fire at Culbin, Forres at 12.53pm on Saturday 12 September. “We currently have four appliances in attendance. Residents are being advised to avoid the area.”
