An Elgin home shopping delivery driver has clocked up 25 years working for Asda.
Wendy McNaian joined the store in Moray’s biggest town in January 1992.
Mrs McNaian said she loves working for Asda and started with the Elgin store when its old premises were located on Edgar Road.
However she left when her husband, George, an RAF serviceman, was posted away from the region.
In 1995, she rejoined Asda at Telford, before moving to the Dundee Milton store for seven years and then finally returned to the Elgin store.
The loyal employee started on the checkouts before jumping at the chance to work in the home shopping delivery service when it was introduced in Elgin 13 years ago.
She continues to meet her Moray customers with a cheerful smile every day – and even made a snowman in Tomintoul once and brought it back to the store to raise spirits.
Asda Elgin store manager Martin Green hailed Mrs McNaian for her dedication over the years.
Mr Green added: “Wendy is a fantastic colleague and we are very lucky to have her here at Asda Elgin.
“She has seen loads of service throughout the store over the years and has been a brilliant home delivery driver for the last 13 years.
“She’s an excellent example of a really good colleague.”
