An award-winning Moray student is among the first to graduate from RGU with a degree in events management.
But Kirsty Liebnitz, 21, of Elgin, has no plans for moving on following the completion of her studies in the city.
She said: “I love it in Aberdeen, that’s where I want to stay for the next 10 to 20 years.
“To be honest Aberdeen is just a bigger Elgin, most folk from Elgin move down here anyway.”
Ms Liebnitz was named student of the year by RGU in the first year of the course.
She was also commended in the best student category at the Scottish Event Awards in 2012 for her involvement in Young Enterprise and Celebrate Aberdeen.
And she has already started work in the recruitment industry following the completion of her fourth year.
Ms Liebnitz said: “I started a month ago, just as I finished uni.”
She said she would always look back fondly on her time at RGU, adding: “I had a great time with everyone on my course.”
Along with partner, Stuart Fraser, she was joined by her parents and brother.
