Flooding and debris caused by bad weather across the north of Scotland in the aftermath of Hurricane Bertha has blocked the A96 in Moray.
Drivers are finding the section of the A96 between the B9103 junction in Elgin and the B9017 junction in Keith difficult due to flooding and stone chippings on the road.
The A96 is also difficult to pass for vehicles in both directions between the A95 junction in Keith and the Burnside Road junction in Fochabers.
Keith Country Show has been cancelled as a result of the poor weather conditions overnight.
Earlier debris on the road had closed the A941 between Elgin and Lossiemouth – although that was cleared by around 6.45am.
People using the A96 took to Twitter to warn others of driving dangers with some describing conditions as ‘very poor’.
@trafficscotland A96 Elgin to Inverness. Conditions very poor. Visibility about 25m. Drive with caution. Advice only travel if needed
