The work of Moray artists will adorn the walls of the gallery in Elgin Library for the next fortnight.
The Moray Arts Club exhibition opens on Saturday and includes a mixture of paintings, sculptures and textiles.
George MacKenzie, art convener, said: “The club holds two annual exhibitions and the organisation supports local artists and professional amateur artists.
“In our summer exhibition we ask our independent curator to exhibit some work who is Fiona Jack.
“We are lucky that the library has let us play around with the gallery space.”
Mr MacKenzie added: “The exhibition gives local people a chance to exhibit their work.
“Visitors can also buy cards or mounted prints.”
The club is celebrating its 65th year and the George Spence Memorial Trophy will be presented to the best exhibitor piece.
Ms Jack has lengthy experience in art and said it had been difficult to choose the best piece: “The work has been amazing at a very high standard.
“It’s been a pleasure to hang them and it’s really come together. Its well worth coming along to see.”
Ms Jack has previously run a gallery in Antigua and now part owns the Jack Tierney Gallery with Marion Tierney in Aberdeen.
She completed a Masters of Fine Art at Robert Gordon University in 2009 and gives art tuition during her spare time.
The awards will be presented on Friday’s preview night which runs from 6.30pm – 8pm and is open to those with an invitation.
The Moray Arts Club was founded in 1951 and has its headquarters located in Bishopmill Hall, Elgin, where there is a drop-in session held on the last Tuesday of the month from 1.30 – 3.30pm.
The exhibition runs until August 29 from 10am – 8pm on weekdays and 10am – 4pm on Saturdays.
