The accident happened on the B9103 Lhanbryde to Inchberry Road at around 1.20pm. Fire fighters had to use cutting gear to free the driver of a yellow Fiat 500, which had collided with a red Ford Koga just south of Lhanbryde. At the scene yesterday, three police cars, two ambulances and two crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance. Officers also blocked off the road for around an hour while the motorists were attended to by paramedics and the vehicles were removed from the scene. Both airbags in the Fiat 500 were deployed on impact and the entire roof had to be removed, while the Ford suffered damage to the rear bumper. A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed that neither driver was seriously injured in the crash.
