The movie that will transform Elgin’s High Street into a huge cinema screen before Christmas period is starting to take shape.
Filming continued over the weekend to capture enough footage for the 50 short films featuring local people that will be projected on to windows of buildings in the town centre.
Moray arts company Wildbird came up with the creation, called Street Scene, and were awarded £40,000 from Creative Scotland to create a vast outdoor exhibition.
The company have set up a pop-up studio in the St Giles Centre to make the short films and WH Smith Manager, Lisa Dethick, shot her film on Saturday.
Mrs Dethick said: “Filming was fine. I think it’s a brilliant, fun idea.
“Everybody is quite excited about it. There’s quite a buzz about it around the town.
“My staff are going to get involved with it as well, although we still haven’t decided what exactly it is we’re going to do.”
Elgin Bid are supporting the Street Scene project and manager, Gill Neill said the organisation are excited to see what the results of the hard work of the team produce.
She added: “We are really pleased that we have been able to help the project use the St Giles Shopping centre as a base and to have promoted it to the businesses in the town.”
Wildbird directors say they are looking for anyone who can do or say something interesting, serious and hard-hitting, fun or silly to get involved.
