The fire service was called to the fire at Roseisle, near Burghead, shortly before 4pm. Two appliances from Elgin were used to tackle the blaze, which broke out during ploughing, and it was extinguished within the hour. A fire servspokesman for the fire service said: “There were two appliances in attendance at the tractor fire. “There were no injuries, and no water supply issues presented by the rural nature of the incident. “The blaze is not being treated as deliberate.”
