Police are investigating the vandalism incident which occurred in Buckpool, which adjoins Buckie. The flat at 5 Silberg Drive was attacked and the broken window was at the side of the property. The incident happened just after midnight on Thursday and the damage caused was worth a low three figure sum. The man who owns the flat is thought to be an offshore worker and was not available for comment. One neighbour, who did not want to be named, said that this was the second time an incident of this nature had occurred. A police spokesman said: “We are keen to speak with two men who were seen entering a taxi in the vicinity of Silberg Drive a short time later.” Anyone with information regarding the vandal attack is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
