Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle collision on Monday.
The incident happened on the A98 Fochabers to Cullen road, just north of Mill of Tynet, around 5.50pm.
A vehicle heading south collided with a white Ford Fiesta travelling north, but continued driving without stopping. Nobody was injured in the incident, but the Fiesta was damaged.
A police spokeswoman said: “It is believed that there were other motorists in the area at the time and we would ask anyone who knows about the incident or who witnessed it to call us on 101 to provide any information.”
