Firefighters have brought a fire at a large steading at a Moray farm under control.
Thirty fire fighters were called to the incident at Mains of Allanbuie, near Keith, at 9.45am.
Crews were faced with a well-developed blaze in the steading, which measured 164ft by 196ft.
Tree appliances were sent to the scene, one pump from Dufftown and a pump and a water carrier from Buckie.
Shortly after a further four appliances were requested, which arrived from Huntly, Aberlour, Elgin and Fochabers.
The Incident Support Vehicle from Elgin also attended.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used three main jets to tackle the blaze. They have now brought the fire under control and are in the process of damping down and removing the affected straw bales.
It was feared livestock had been contained in the building, however a spokesman for the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service confirmed that only hay and machinery were inside.
Station Manager Willie Chisholm, Incident Commander at the scene, said: “This was a well-developed barn fire and the crews did a great job to protect a nearby workshop and house from the fire.
“We now have it under control and we are carrying out damping down operations.”
