Two taken to hospital following double Moray crash

Two people were taken to hospital following separate crashes on a Moray road last night.

Police were called to the A941 between Elgin and Fogwatt, near the Thornhill Road roundabout at 5.45pm.

As police assisted with the incident, that left motorists unscathed, another pair of cars crashed in the same area.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “While we were assisting with rush hour crash, at 7pm another two cars crashed in the same area.

“An elderly man and woman were taken to Dr Gray’s in Elgin hospital and the vehicles involved are being investigated. “
