Six fire teams have been tackling an industrial fire on a Moray street this evening.
The blaze broke out at Moray Precast Ltd on Ashgrove Road, Elgin, at around 4.15pm.
Five crews were called from Elgin, Lossiemouth, Fochabers, Rothes and Forres along with a height vehicle from Inverness and an Incident Support vehicle.
Police Scotland are currently working alongside the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service at the scene.
Ashgrove Road is currently closed between the A96 and Linkwood Road to allow access for fire appliances.
The fire is contained and there is currently no risk of the fire spreading.
Local residents have been advised to shut windows and doors due to asbestos in the roof of the warehouse, with firefighters clearing the area around the building.
An Ambulance spokeswoman said: “We are on scene, we are there as a precautionary measure. We have got a manager and a crew there at the moment and a special operations response team from Aberdeen.”
