Mosstowie Primary School has become the third Moray school to be hit by today’s winter weather.
Tomintoul Primary School and Speyside High School are both partially closed due to the adverse weather conditions.
Mosstowie Primary was closed to all pupils at 10.30am this morning due to an electrical failure.
Speyside High School is partially closed with pupils warned that due to icy road conditions and forecasts of more snow later today buses from Auchbrek, Tomintoul and Glenrinnes and all connecting transport to these buses are not running.
Tomintoul Primary is open to those who feel they can travel safely and the Avonside bus is running but the Braes bus is not. The planned school trip to the pantomime in Inverness today is cancelled.
