One person treated at scene after Buckie fire

A house in Buckie is understood to have sustained minor damage after a fire this evening.

The incident, in Shearer Avenue, started at around 5.36pm.

Three crews from Buckie, Cullen and Portsoy went to the scene, as well as local police.

However the fire was out by the time they arrived, having been extinguished by a neighbour.

One person was given oxygen therapy by firefighters and was being treated by paramedics at the scene.

Crews have now returned to their stations.
