The B&M store in Elgin has been sealed off by police following a suspected overnight break-in.
The incident on the Edgar Road retail park took place between midnight and 2.50am on Thursday, June 2.
Police in Elgin have been at the scene all morning – with the shop sealed off.
A police spokesman said: “Officers searched the area but it is suspected that one or two suspects ran from the area upon their arrival.
“It is not known at this stage whether anything was stolen from the premises.”
Detective Constable Scott Mackay said: “We’re appealing to anyone with any information on this break-in, or possible CCTV footage from the nearby area, to please come forward.
“Any little piece of information could prove useful as we conduct our inquiries.”
