Firefighters called to help horse get back on its feet

Firefighters have been called to help get a horse back on its feet in Moray.

The incident is thought to have happened at a horse rescue centre between Blackies and Deskford, just south of Cullen.

One fire team from Portsoy was called to help the animal just before 12pm.

A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We are up trying to assist lifting a horse up near Deskford. We were just request ed to help get a horse back on its feet. We got the call at 11.48pm.”

Nobody is said to have been hurt during the incident.
