Labour's mansion tax plans were unveiled last week and would have the objective of boosting funding for the NHS
The Moray Labour Party held its annual meeting this week, where members elected office bearers for the next year.
Sandy Keith continues as chairman, Criag Graham has taken up the role of vice-chairman, Sean Morton is secretary, Alan Burgess is treasurer and Marion Mclennan is equalities officer.
Following his re-election, Mr Keith said members would be focusing on local issues as well as campaigning hard for the forthcoming general election.
“Membership continues to grow steadily and Labour in Moray is in good heart,” he said.
“Labour councillors on the Moray Council have made many telling interventions over the last year and continue to demonstrate Labour’s commitment to putting the needs of the people of Moray first.”
