Ride the North is back, starting and finishing this year in Elgin. It's a one day event this year and riders can pick between 57 or 100 miles.

Hundreds of cyclists turned out for Ride the North’s grand return on Saturday.
The region’s biggest annual cycle event returned for the first time since the pandemic, with scores of riders choosing between the 100 or 57-mile journey through Moray.
As always, communities were out in force to support the cyclists – some who take part for fun, others who do it for a charity – with plenty of homebakes and refreshments on offer at the stop stations around the course.
Our photographer Jason Hedges was there to capture some of the Ride the North action.
