APPROVED: Change of use for Moray golf clubhouse
A Moray golf clubhouse is to become a home.
Tommy Dingwall was represented by Grant and Geoghegan in the proposals for Kinloss Country Golf Club.
The golf course is currently under construction and major development is being
carried out on the land for dwellings and holiday lodges.
Directors previously said they need a permanent presence at the course. Turning the clubhouse into a house will give that, and secure and protect their investments.
They say they have had “numerous” break-ins and damage to property and machinery.
In a planning statement, golf officials said: “With the mobile units in mind we feel the clubhouse will be surplus to requirements.
“In recent years public houses have struggled to maintain profitability and we like many others look for ways to improve and adapt our business.”
APPROVED: Former butchers will be turned into home
A former butcher shop is another business being turned into a home.
Rosie Henderson was represented by Grant and Geoghegan Limited in the change of use application for the former AG Jappy butchers at 19 Grant Street, Cullen.
SUBMITTED: Findhorn play equipment
An application has been submitted to install replacement play equipment at Findhorn.
Work is being proposed to replace the old village green play structure at Findhorn eco-village.
The Park in Findhorn began as a pioneering experiment and has since grown to become one of the most recognised eco-villages in the UK.
Berent Korfker has lodged the application.
