APPROVED: Serviced accommodation at Buckie hotel
Plans have been given the green light to convert part of a Buckie hotel’s ground floor into serviced accommodation.
The operator’s change of use will take place at the Old Coach House Hotel at 28 High Street.
Mantell Ritchie represented Rehman Mahmood in the application.
The hotel in the heart of the historic fishing town used to be a coaching inn.
APPROVED: Accommodation
The property in question is Park Cottage Marypark.
Work includes a new roof and retaining wall being constructed.
S Reid Design represented Brendan Walker in the application.
SUBMITTED: New dog grooming parlour
Offices could be turned into a dog grooming parlour in Elgin.
The change of use plans are proposed at the Moycroft House in Elgin.
This building used to be home to the old Elgin Roof Truss Company.
Plans Plus is representing Alison Tewnion in the application.
It is anticipated that opening hours for the dog groomers will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Two people will work in the business.
In a planning statement, they said: “The intention is to convert a number of offices to dog grooming areas.
“The only change within the building is the addition of a dog washing tray within one of the old offices.
“Everything else will remain exactly as it is at present.
“The nature of this business is to have the dog owners drop off and pick up their canine friends from the parlour with the minimum of stopping time in the car park where there will be two dedicated parking spaces allocated to the applicant.”
SUBMITTED: Electric vehicle charging points
It is proposed at the car park associated with 1-8 Varis Wynd.
IH Designs is representing Miele Properties.
