APPROVED: Give me light
An application to erect ground mounted solar panels at a farm have been approved.
The plans are for Orbliston Farm at Fochabers.
The Greenspan Agency represented the Firm of A M Shepherd in the application for the panels on the vacant land with grass cover.
SUBMITTED: Changes to Forres cafe
Replacement windows could be installed at a Forres cafe.
The plans are for Cafe 1496 at 79 High Street.
Susan Longmuir Architect is representing the cafe in the planning application.
The installation of awing to the cafe could also take place.
On their website, the cafe says it is ” not your typical coffee shop and inspired by the great cafes of Europe”.
SUBMITTED: New recycling building
An application has been submitted to build a new recycling building.
It is proposed for Grays Recycling near Fochabers.
The shed will be used for the majority of waste and will mean as waste arrives on site it is tipped instantly.
John Wink Design is representing Grays Recycling Service Limited.
The new shed will accommodate a picking and sorting system which is developed by Kiverco Recycling Plant.
In a planning statement, the firm added: “This allows waste material to be removed from possible recyclable materials.
“This is just the same set up as the original system installed in the existing shed in 2005 but bigger and more efficient due to more advanced technology.”
Further planning applications can be viewed using Moray Council’s portal.
