One person has been taken to hospital after a crash on West Road in Elgin.
Emergency services were called to the incident involving a car and a lorry at around 3.15pm on Thursday.
The road forms part of the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road and the crash occurred outside the Esso garage near Dr Gray’s Hospital.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution but no other injuries have been reported.
Traffic was busy around the area in the hours following the incident and a number of buses were subject to delays as a result.
A spokesman from police said: “Around 3.15pm on Thursday November 24, police were called to the West Road area of Elgin, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
“One person taken to hospital as a precaution.”
Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
