Firefighters tackled a blaze at a residential garage in Moray yesterday.
The domestic building at Kilbuiack, outside Alves, was left blackened and smouldering, but fire crews managed to confine the blaze to a storage shed at one end of the garage.
No-one was hurt during the fire, which broke out just before 3pm.
The owners of the property did not want to talk about the drama, but thanked the fire crews for their quick action and preventing serious damage.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We received a 999 call shortly before 2.55pm, reporting a garage on fire on an unclassified road next to Glenburgie Distillery, by Alves.
“Two appliances were sent out – one from Forres and one from Elgin.
“Firefighters reached the scene within 10 minutes. Four firefighters in breathing apparatus used a single water jet to bring the scene under control. Crews then remained in attendance to dampen down any small flames and secure the vicinity.”
The fire crews gave the all clear shortly after 3.30pm.
