This was the scene in Moray earlier today as motorists were faced with a wall of dust across one of the region’s busiest roads.
Visibility on the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road was down to just a few yards after strong gusts whipped up the cloud just a mile east of Forres.
And the A941 Lossiemouth-Elgin road was also affected, when dust from an adjacent field was blown across the route near the southern entrance to Elgin.
