A biker has been airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following a crash near Elgin.
The collision involving a car and a motorbike took place shortly before 9am this morning on Duffus Road in Elgin.
Part of the B9012 has reopened since being closed.
Three ambulance crews along with an air ambulance were sent to the scene.
A 47-year-old man was taken to ARI by air ambulance, where his condition remains unknown.
Road has reopened
An ambulance spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.50am today to attend a road traffic collision on Duffus Road in Elgin.
“We dispatched three ambulances and an air ambulance to the scene. We airlifted one patient to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
A police spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Monday, June 3, 2024, we were called to a report of a road crash involving a car and a motorbike on the B9012, Duffus Road, Elgin.
“Officers attended and a 47-year-old man was taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“The road was reopened around 11.30am.”
