A car ended up on its roof in the crash on the A828 near Ballachulish.
A female driver has been taken to hospital following a road accident today.
The crash happened on the A98 between Whitehills and Portsoy just before 6am this morning.
The woman, who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa, was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin as a precaution.
The A98 was closed at the Cornhill Junction where traffic heading to Aberdeen was diverted through Aberchirder and traffic heading to Banff diverted along the Old Coast Road.
Police, ambulance and two fire crews from Banff and Macduff were called to the scene.
