A man has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after a crash on the A941 north of Elgin.
The crash happened on the Elgin to Lossiemouth road at its junction with the B9135 at around 10pm on Tuesday, October 1.
The road was closed for 12 hours after the crash between a grey Renault Trafic van and a black Keeway Superlight 125 motorcycle.
Officers carried out enquiries but the road has since reopened.
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment
Officers have said that the man remains in a serious condition.
Sergeant Lesley Morrison from Police Scotland said: “Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, to contact us as soon as possible.”
