Morning traffic was brought to a standstill following a crash on the outskirts of Moray’s main town this morning.
A silver Vauxhall Astra overturned on the B9103 Myreside to Coleburn road to the east of Elgin, near Blackhills.
A red Fiat Punto was also involved in the collision, which happened just before 8.30am, but both drivers escaped their vehicles unscathed.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene.
Traffic flow was inhibited as the crash was cleared, but the road remained open throughout.
A police spokesman said: “There was a two-vehicle collision, and in the aftermath of that a silver Vauxhall Astra was lying on its side blocking the southbound carriageway.
“An ambulance did attend, but there were no injuries reported.”
