Police are currently at the scene of a siege incident at a property in the north-east.
A number of uniformed officers are at the scene in Wallace Avenue in Buckie where it is believed four people are currently inside a flat.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police were called to a disturbance in the Wallace area at around 5,30am and the incident is ongoing and no threat to the wider public.”
Fire services have also been alerted to the incident with one appliance from Buckie put on standby while officers try to make contact with those inside the flat.
A fire spokesman confirmed: “Four people are in a property in the Wallace Avenue area of Buckie. We have had it described to us as a siege.”
A cordon has been put in place around the area.
