Emergency services were alerted to the collision – between a grey Honda CRV and a white Audi A3 – on Main Street, New Elgin, at about 12.15pm. One car overturned and landed on its roof as a result of the accident. Police, ambulance and fire and rescue crews were all called to the road. A police spokesman described the motorists as the “walking wounded”. The road is currently closed with diversions via North Street.
