A further warning of traffic problems has been issued by police after a lorry came off of an Aberdeenshire road.
A cyclist is believed to have suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car on one of Moray’s busiest roads.
The accident happened at 10.20am outside Dr Gray’s Hopsital on Elgin’s West Road, and a long stretch of the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness route has been closed.
Traffc diversions have been put in place on the A96 at the junction with Wittet Drive and at the roundabout by the town’s post office.
Police have said it is too early to release any details but it is believed the cyclist suffered “quite serious injuries”.
