The woman’s blue Citroen Twingo was heading towards New Elgin on the A941 when the vehicle veered from the road across from Fogwatt Hall at 2.30pm. An ambulance attended the scene and took the woman to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin. An eye-witness said: “It looked as if she was due to give birth any day.” Police reported that the driver has sustained “minor injuries” but could not offer any more details.
