A man is recovering after his car careened from a Moray road amid stormy weather, and tumbled several times down an embankment.
The man’s black Renault Megane left the B9016 road between Keith and Buckie at around 9.15pm on Thursday night.
The accident occurred one mile past Altmore, a short distance from the junction with the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness route.
Though the man’s car was left in a mangled heap beneath the road, it is reported he did not come to any serious harm in the crash.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that a car left the road at a location one mile from Aultmore.
“The man, who was driving a black Renault Megane, did not suffer any life threatening or life changing injuries but was taken to hospital via an ambulance.
“At this stage it is not possible to say whether weather conditions played a part in the crash.”
