A woman caught keying cars after footage of her crime went viral admitted the offence in court today.
Hazel Innes, 44, used an unknown object to scratch the motors in the Moray town of Buckie in January.
Car owner Shona Coull, 43, caught the vandal in the act after setting up a CCTV camera outside her home.
She posted the 23 second video of her 4X4 BMW X3 being keyed on Facebook in the hope that someone would recognise the culprit.
In CCTV footage that was viewed online more than half a million times, the shameless vandal was spotted carrying out the wanton act while walking a dog.can be seen casually walking down the pavement on Seaview Road with a pug on a lead.
She then stops and checks the coast is clear, before taking a sharp object out of her pocket and running it down the entire length of a Shona Coull’s car.
Innes has just admitted three acts of vandalism at Elgin Sheriff Court.
