A motorist was caught driving at more than 100mph on a Moray road during a police crackdown.
Officers from Lossiemouth and Fochabers launched the two-day operation to clamp down on antisocial driving,
And during that time, 15 drivers were stopped for speeding and were either charged or educated about their behaviour.
One motorist was clocked at 103mph on the A941 between Lossiemouth and Elgin, while another was caught at 53mph on High Street, Fochabers. Both have been reported to the procurator fiscal.
Sergeant Thomas Gorman said: “I am particularly disappointed to see speeds being detected that are well in excess of the speed limit.
“These speeds are totally inexcusable and I would urge everyone to be aware of the speed that they are travelling within our towns and villages and also on our rural roads.
“Whilst the majority of motorists obey the speed limits in both urban and rural locations, the number of people we caught speeding is disappointing.”
Moray police responded to speeding concerns after locals asked them to treat road safety as a priority.
Officers intend to continue to monitor the issue, which is listed as a national priority.
