Rescue helicopters and lifeboats called to Moray Firth

A north lifeboat and UK Coastguard rescue helicopter have converged on the Moray Firth.
Kessock lifeboat, an Inverness coastguard rescue team and Aberdeen Coastguard’s Rescue-948 helicopter have all been called to the waters near Fortrose this morning.
The Kessock team were called out at 8.45am.
A spokesman for the coastguard said: “Rescue-948 is on the scene, that was at 8.45am this morning we were called.”
Police are also said to be on the scene.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
