A woman was airlifted to hospital with a head injury after falling down a cliff onto rocks on the Moray coast.
Emergency services were called to Covesea, near Lossiemouth, at about 10.30am yesterday morning.
The woman fell and slid 20ft down a slope before hitting her head and getting trapped between two rocks.
Rescuers gathered at the top of the cliff at Covesea Links golf course while investigating options to free the walker.
Coastguard, fire and lifeboat crews were called to assist before an air ambulance was called to take the woman to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness shortly before noon.
A police spokeswoman said: “The woman remained conscious throughout. The head injury was not serious.”
