Extensive damage has been caused to two vehicles following a collision on a busy north-east road. Police and ambulances were called to the A96 after the accident at the junction of the B9016 road to Buckie shortly after 5pm. The female driver of one of the vehicles is being treated for a stomach injury with the driver of the other suffering a sore neck. It is understood that the road is still open following the accident about two miles north of Keith. A police spokesman said: “Ambulance crews are there at the moment. There has been extensive damage to both vehicles but no serious injuries.”
