Emergency services are currently dealing with an industrial incident in Peterhead.
Police said there is no “pedestrian or vehicle access to Asda” and members of the public are asked to avoid the Longside Road area.
An ambulance is also at the scene. The alarm was raised just before 12.30pm.
Witnesses said it appeared that scaffolding has fallen over and several police officers surrounding it.
Asda has been contacted for a comment.
A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) spokeswoman said: “HSE is aware of an incident at Asda in Peterhead and is currently liaising with Police Scotland.”
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 12:26 hours today to attend an incident at the Longside Road area in Peterhead. Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
