Police, lifeboat and rescue teams in missing person search at mouth of River Spey

A Moray lifeboat has been called out to assist in the search for a missing person at the mouth of the River Spey.
Police and Aberdeen Coastguard have teamed up in the search which is focusing on the Spey Bay area, west of Buckie just now.
The Buckie lifeboat and coastguard rescue teams from Burghead, Portsoy, Buckie and Lossiemouth were called out just before noon to assist with the incident.
An Aberdeen Coastguard spokesman said: “The lifeboat has just been called out, they are just carrying out a search for a missing person in the area.
“It is a police incident. We were called by the police at 11.50am.”
