Police say the death is being treated as unexplained
The A82 has been closed in both directions following a serious crash.
The route has been closed to all traffic between Tarbet and Inveruglas and road users have been advised to use alternative routes.
The incident is understood to have taken place at around 6.42am this morning but no further information is yet available on the condition of those involved.
A police Scotland spokesman confirmed that Police are currently attending the scene.
The road is expected to remain closed for more than an hour.
UPDATE: The southbound carriageway has now reopened to traffic but northbound remains closed.
