A woman has been arrested over the death of a mother in Dundee.
The 36-year-old victim, named locally as Marie Low, was found injured in Ballantrae Terrace at about 3pm on Sunday and rushed to Ninewells Hospital, in the city where she later died.
Police launched an investigation and said officers were following a “positive line of inquiry”.
A 30-year-old woman has now been arrested in connection with the death and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Police said enquiries are continuing and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Friends of Ms Low have started a fundraising drive to cover funeral costs for her family.
A message posted on the Just Giving page reads: “Three beautiful girls have lost their beautiful amazing mum to a very sad horrific death.
“Marie was due to become a granny for the first time in December and sadly will no longer get to experience this amazing time.
“Her kids are in pieces as well as her own mum and the rest of her family and close friends. Sleep tight Marie. You will always be one in a million.”
