The north of Scotland will be battered by gale force winds, forecasters have warned.
The Met Office has raised its alert to a yellow “be aware” warning of high speed gusts.
Sutherland, Caithness, the Hebrides and Orkney are some of the most high-risk areas, with gusts of up to 75mph expected.
The warning period covers 1am to 1pm tomorrow.
Stormy weather, including wind of 50-60 mph, is likely to batter many parts of the country.
The weather has already caused disruption across the west coast and Highlands.
Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne said poor weather conditions over the past 36 hours have disrupted its services.
It said further disruption was expected on Thursday morning.
ScotRail has also been advising customers to check journey information before setting off,
NetworkRail Scotland also tweeted an appeal to people who live close to railway lines to secure items in gardens, such as trampolines, to prevent them from being blown on to lines.
