A busy Glasgow street has been closed off after a man is understood to have fallen from a hotel window.
Police and the ambulance service were called to Gordon Street in the city centre after 11am on Friday and both entrances to the street were taped off.
Moments after a major train station came to a halt to mark Armistice Day, a person was seen falling from a hotel window outside.
Passers-by reported seeing a naked man falling from a fourth floor window shortly after the commemorations finished.
Emergency services, including several police vans and ambulances, immediately rushed to the scene at the main entrance of Glasgow Central station.
It is understood that the man was hanging over a window on the city’s Gordon Street close to the main entrance of the station.
Witnesses reported seeing police holding on to the man and that they may have been attempting to save him before he fell on to a coffee shop street table below.
